Porro Storage is the traditional and modern Italian wardrobe with hinged doors, which is proposed as a practical and always up-to-date solution for the furniture of the night area and beyond. A project by Piero Lissoni that finds its strength in the refined design of the doors and the high technology of the opening system.
Porro Storage system is a new system with a linear and essential design and, at the same time, great storage capacity. The wide range of modules, the variety of doors and equipment and the richness of finishes make Porro systems free and flexible, modular at will, built around the person and their requests.
Porro Storage System Features
The main feature of Porro Storage system is the wide range of hinged doors. From materials, transparent or opaque, to the various types of handles, it is possible to create a unique wardrobe. There are in fact ten types of doors, each matched to a different type of handle: flat, techno, profile, scoop, iron, riff, 32S, block, eco-leather, leather.
It is a project designed with rationality and functionality in mind. Porro Storage system is therefore able to contain the stored objects and to organize them in an efficient and practical way thanks to its many internal components.
Storage Wardrobe Materials
The structure of Porro storage system has been designed in different types of wood: from white cherry to black sugi, from hemlock "ash" to mongoi and eucalyptus in various shades. The doors, true protagonists of this modern Italian wardrobe, can have different aspects thanks to a wide range of finishes available, such as melamine, matt and gloss lacquered in a rich range of colours, different types of wood, mirror or crystal.
The finish chosen for the uprights and transoms is white, black or cuve' painted aluminium or coated with mongoi wood effect, eucalyptus and hemlock ash. The chests of drawers, internal components of the wardrobe, can be in wood in different finishes (white cherry, black sugi, hemlock "ash", mongoi, eucalyptus), matt lacquered in the colours present in the Porro sample book or in transparent tempered glass. Finally, the hanger rods are available in white painted aluminium, cuvée, black, "moka" and "ash".
Porro Storage System Compositions
Both for the different types of structure and for the Porro Storage system door type there are different modules. The available door sizes are 500 / 600 and 750 mm. The composition of the structure follows these measurements: if the type of opening is single leaf, the structure also adopts the same measurements as the doors; if the opening is double leaf, the structure is designed by doubling the module, i.e. 1000 / 1200 and 1500 mm.
With hinged doors it is also possible to create both angular and linear compositions, adaptable to any type of space. You can also customize the doors by choosing the type of handle. There are types that protrude from door panel of the modern Italian wardrobe, such as the solutions ring, elle, square and knob; others, instead, disappear in the thickness of the door, such as pocket, clip and oslo; others have elongated shapes, as if to outline the edges of the doors, such as the line and sign solutions.
The internal components also offer a wide range of possibilities, in order to ensure maximum efficiency according to different needs. You can then customize Porro storage system with drawers, trouser and sweater racks, storage compartments, shoe racks and many other accessories.
