Rift Moroso Description
The Rift Armchair of Moroso and designer Patricia Urquiola is another example of unconventional thought transformed into actual objects for everyday use. The product's name alone speaks about its intentions: a crack, split or break in something. The Moroso Rift has accomplished this by separating itself from its contemporaries with its ingenious design rationale resembling shifting tectonic plates. Uncommon sources of inspiration provide us with another superb piece of furnishing in the form of this item. The Rift Armchair shows us that even the vaguest concepts give inspiration, and from this inspiration comes excellent furniture pieces.
Rift Armchair Moroso Features
The main highlight of the Moroso Rift's construct lies in its backrest. The aesthetics of its structure shows us a geological influence that defines the construct of its backrest. This structure consists of injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over an internal steel frame. The feet of this product are made with PVC. The arrangement given to the foam components allows each piece to have its own element, which then connects to one another to form the entirety of the backrest. The backrest assembly then connects to the seating component to complete the shape of this beautiful armchair.
Rift Armchair Materials
There are several available finishes for the Moroso Rift Armchair. You may simply select a colour that will suit your personal preference or your interior design scheme. Fabric options provide you with a visual and tactile experience: colourful fabrics give the armchair a quirky feel, while printed or patterned options give a more heightened sensory aspect. Leather selections, however, enables the Moroso Rift to present a more stately vibe to any spectator. In any case, there is an upholstery choice that will certainly fit any design inclination that you may have in mind. These covers are not removable.
Rift Armchair Moroso Compositions
The Moroso Rift Armchair comes in two sizes that allow it to occupy any space in your home intended for an item of its kind. The small version of the Rift measures 68x70x74 cm. The bigger version of this item comes in at 84x86x75 cm. The Moroso Rift is a collection of items with a single design scheme present within every product of this line. The Rift includes a Y or L type sofa with left and right orientations, a chair stackable up to four pieces high, and a high or low stool.
