Proust Cappellini Description
Cappellini's Proust Armchair is one of the most acclaimed furniture pieces of all time. Since its initial release in 1978, the postmodern image of this armchair has never lost its charm. This hand-made masterpiece stands the test of time and trends, making it a truly world-class work of art. The new edition of Cappellini’s Proust retains the traditional artisanal craftsmanship that went into its construction, with the addition of a fixed cover of multicoloured fabric that mirrors the finish on the hand-carved and hand-painted wooden frame. This makes the Proust Armchair an excellent item for connoisseurs of fine furniture.
Proust Armchair Cappellini Features
The Cappellini Proust Armchair represents a forward-thinking mindset that was immensely ahead of its time. This furniture piece usually comes in more formal colours, but designer Alessandro Mendini opted to utilize a multicoloured finish to break away from the traditional stylings of this chair. The frame of this item is made from hand-carved beech wood. Its upholstery consists of multi-density polyurethane foam and is covered by a multicoloured fabric. The feet for the Proust consists of a durable transparent plastic material. With these features, the Cappellini Proust is guaranteed to find its way into any design scheme.
Proust Armchair Materials
Two multicoloured finishes are available for Cappellini's Proust Armchair: light blue/green/yellow or black/green/red. These colour options go hand in hand with the armchair's wooden frame, giving the Proust a uniform look. The complete image of the armchair endears it to any spectator as it has an aesthetic that is both casual and grandiose. Typically, a baroque armchair has its wooden components naturally finished or lacquered with a single shade, and its upholstery being a single colour. The Proust does away with this notion by using its multicoloured finish to captivate people who see its impressive profile.
Proust Armchair Cappellini Compositions
Cappellini's Proust comes in at 93x105x109 cm, an apt size for an armchair of this calibre. These measurements allow this armchair to occupy any environment, whether commercial or domestic. This item brings with it an offbeat demeanour that represents refinement and quirkiness. The Proust is a piece of furniture as well as a topic of conversation for any onlooker. Its visage alone is capable of starting talks in its vicinity. The Proust remains an influential piece of furnishing that heightens a room's aesthetic value without fail.
