The Filigree table was designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, a Milanese architect, in 2013 for Molteni&C, a leading Italian furniture manufacturer. The creation of the Filigree table came from the idea of building an extremely slim product capable of housing technological improvements. Dordoni achieved this feat by putting the traditionally bulky mechanism of an extendable table into a mechanism containment structure that only has a 38 mm internal thickness. With its slim form and unexpected extendability to attain maximum use of space, the Filigree table contributes in cementing the reputation of Molteni&C as one of Italy's finest in furniture craftsmanship.
