Dada Tivalì Kitchen, an hideaway kitchen model, starts from an idea born in modern times, and that continues to the present day: open-plan spaces that are all integrated.
In designing the Dada Tivalì Kitchen, Dante Bonuccelli claims to have gone in search of innovation and to have tried to interpret the evolution of a new way of thinking about living spaces. In contemporary society, the houses are smaller with conjoined, related spaces. The kitchen is often integrated into the living room, and thus the idea of the innovative and contemporary hideaway kitchen was born.
Dada Tivali Kitchen Features
The Dada Tivalì kitchen is a distillation of technology whose main characteristics are essentiality and linearity. But what makes this kitchen truly unique is the fact that it is a kitchen box, a hideaway kitchen that magically appears and disappears when needed. The large doors slide with a light and fluid movement, disappearing into the side compartments thanks to an exclusive patented mechanism by Dada.
The technological features of Tivalì do not end there: the scenographic lighting given by the back panel, which becomes a led light wall, creates a sense of well-being and a new atmosphere in the kitchen space.
The backlighting designed for this Dada kitchen came out of the idea that the kitchen does not necessarily need to be placed along the walls of the room or near a window. Instead, the kitchen can also be in the center of a space that integrates multiple functions, that can become a kitchen or remain a living area when the kitchen disappears thanks to the doors that slide and fold.
Tivalì Kitchen Materials
The linearity of the kitchen leads to having essential and minimal finishes. The FLAT type handle in stainless steel is arranged vertically along with the compartment doors of the kitchen, characterized by thin, simple lines that meticulously mark the modules of Dada Tivalì kitchen.
As for the materials, the choices are many: for the doors, the finishes available are laminate, Fenix, matte and glossy lacquer, special metallic lacquer, alucobond, and wood in both light and dark colors. The kitchen countertop also has a wide choice of finishes: laminate, natural stones, quartzite, painted or etched glass, stainless steel, and different types of ceramics such as cartapietra, florim, inalco, and laminam.
Dada Tivali Kitchen Compositions
In 2016 the Dada Tivalì changed its shape: now it can be either a linear or corner kitchen while keeping its fundamental elements unchanged. The hideaway kitchen bar can be supplemented with modular components that complete the box-kitchen, such as columns with glass doors, corner columns, columns with shelves, drawers, and glass racks.
The Dada Tivalì hideaway kitchen can also be enhanced with external elements that complete the composition, such as Banco by Luca Meda, a central element whose base is suspended on a supporting frame. Banco detaches itself from the traditional table idea, integrating perfectly with the kitchen and becoming an excellent object for sharing moments with friends and family.
