Molteni&C Sofa Description
Milan native Rodolfo Dordoni has had a long history with Molteni & C which has spanned throughout not only years, but copious products and collections. The Molteni Chelsea sofa was inspired first by the Chelsea table/dining chair. The concept of this product was to provide the elegance and comfort of an armchair, while making it suitable for a dining chair. They expanded the chair design for the living room as the Chelsea armchair, then sought to enlarge the armchair into a sofa. The Chelsea collection, including dining chair, armchair, and sofa was introduced at Salone del Mobile in 2014, and for purchase in 2015.

The Molteni&C Sofa is a contemporary furniture piece. The sofa does little with flair, but makes up for it in elegance. The solid Fir wood structure provides not only support, but the linear definition characteristic to the Molteni Chelsea sofa. Large goose-down back and seat cushions deliver the comfort and coziness desired in the living room. It’s the perfect combination of elements to sit and relax, read, meditate, or converse.

We’ll let you choose if less is more! There are so many ways to customize your Molteni&C Chelsea sofa. The cover finishes are available in a leather or a variety of material fabrics including: Velvet, Wool, Alcantara, Bouclè, Canvas, Linen, and Chenille. All covers are completely removable. The structural finishes are available in your choice of solid stained wood (including Eucalyptus, Light or Dark Elm, Grey, Graphite, or Black Oak), marble (White Carrara, Red Laguna, Orient Grey, Sahara Noir), or metal (Copper, Brown Aluminum, Black Chrome).
